Moong is the dal people reach for when someone is unwell, when the weather turns, or when dinner needs to be simple. That is a lot to ask of one crop, and it is worth growing it properly.
Ours is grown on the same land as our tur and milled at the same mill. No polish, no colour, nothing added.
It cooks down soft in twenty minutes and does not need much doing to it.
